Responsible Drinking & Health Warning

At 11Bucks Liquor we love a good pour, but alcohol is a mood-altering drug that can harm your body, your judgment, and your future if you overdo it. Never drink if you are under the legal age, pregnant or nursing, planning to drive or operate machinery, taking medications that clash with alcohol, or dealing with a medical condition that alcohol can make worse. Even healthy adults should pace themselves. Think no more than one drink per hour, plenty of water between rounds, and at least two alcohol-free days each week.

Know the Numbers and the Signs

In the United States a “standard drink” is 1.5 oz of 80-proof spirits, 5 oz of table wine, or 12 oz of regular beer. Most experts say low-risk drinking means up to one drink per day for women and up to two for men, with a hard stop at four drinks on any single occasion. Warning signs of trouble include drinking to cope with stress, blackouts, hiding bottles, or friends hinting you should slow down. If any of those ring a bell, hit pause and talk to a professional.
